Breastfeeding Education
Henderson HypnoBirthing is currently offering Breastfeeding Education classes in our Henderson location. I
offer group or private classes to meet every family's needs.
Group classes are available for $40.00 per couple and private classes are available for $75.00 per couple. Each
class is designed in a 2 1/2 hour format.
Why should I take a Breastfeeding Education course?
Breastfeeding Education classes - intended for pregnant moms and partners- are a vital step in establishing
a healthy breastfeeding relationship between you and your newborn!
Who should attend?
Since a support network is vital in the success of breastfeeding, we welcome moms to bring not only their
partner, but any family member that will play an active role in the postpartum period. Typically this will
include a grandmother, sister, aunt or close friend. Moms, please speak with Jackie if you are planning on
attending class with more than one companion.
What will I learn?
· Benefits of Breastfeeding
· Preparation for Breastfeeding
· Anatomy and Physiology of Breastfeeding
· Breast Changes in Pregnancy
· Early Feedings: Positioning and Latch
· Frequency and Duration of Feedings
· “Signs” that Baby is Getting Enough
· Hurdles
· Maternal Nutrition
· Pumping, Storing, and Bottle-feeding
· Breastfeeding Beyond the First Six Weeks
